My personal education background includes a B.S. in elementary education. I have experience as a fourth grade teacher and an elementary physical education teacher.  My wife taught kindergarten for the greater part of her thirty-four year career. I both know and understand developmental needs and attention span for students of all levels. My programs are designed with these factors in mind. I am confident that I have the ability to develop a program to fit the needs of every setting. I am the Wisconsin State Educator of the D.A.R.E. program.

While every school has different needs, I have successfully developed a template that has worked well for elementary schools. This is a three part presentation that can be completed in a half day session. This is important because it allows me to make presentations in two schools per day, provided they are within reasonable distances of each other.

I split the presentations up by grade level because of their developmental age, understanding, ability and attention span. The three parts of the program are as follows:
